    TRUCKER-INFORMATION

The introduction of the pre-booking and slot-booking system TruckGate at our Bremerhaven terminals CTB and MSC Gate has been postponed again. We have also decided to introduce a phase of voluntary use before the start of mandatory use.

The new schedule now provides that from March 1st, 2023 there will be the possibility of voluntary use for pre-booking and slot-booking in the TruckGate system. The date of mandatory use is currently scheduled for May 1st, 2023. However, based on the course of the project so far, we will re-evaluate this date during the phase of voluntary use and, if necessary, adjust it again.

Our goal is to offer everyone involved a system without errors and with a full range of functions - especially if we assume its use. In this sense, we ask for your understanding.

Further information is available at www.TruckGate.de

    Directions

    2. VIDEO/OCR-Gate

All trucks for delivery and delivery processes for full and empty containers (up to max. 4.3m height and 3.1m width including empty chassis) pass through the video/OCR-Gate.

    3. PRE-BOOKING AND SLOT-BOOKING (from Q2 2023)

It is intended that all delivery and pickup processes for full and empty containers by truck will be pre-booked electronically via the TruckGate system (www.truckgate.de) and only carried out during the previously booked time slots. The systemic pre- and slot-booking process results in considerable advantages in terms of processing time.

A booked slot is valid for a full hour, e.g. 09:00-10:00. With processing in priority 2, the tour-plan can be processed within 90 minutes before and up to 90 minutes after the booked slot, e.g. 7:30 a.m. to 11:29 a.m. Outside of priority 2, the tour-plan can be dispatched within 30 minutes before and up to 30 minutes after the booked slot, e.g. 08:30-10:29.

The respective handling priority as well as the slot-utilization/availability can be seen at https://slot.truckgate.de/slots/.

Already booked slots, which cannot be reached in time, are to be re-booked accordingly. If slots that have already been booked are no longer required, they must be canceled BEFORE the start of the slot.

    4. HANDLING AT SELF-SERVICE CONSOLES

All delivery and pickup processes for full and empty containers by truck (with the exception of oversize/OOG, sensitive reefer containers and dangerous goods) can be handled at self-service consoles. For this purpose, three truck consoles are available directly in the pre-gate parking grid for self-service handling from the vehicle window, as well as four other self-service consoles within walking distance in the self-service container. This means that processing is possible with almost no waiting time.

    1. Simple self-service processing by entering the tour-plan number, as the entire process has already been pre-booked an registered.

    2. Direct entry into the gate/check- lanes immediately after self-service at the truck console.

No waiting times for personal registration at the service-desk in container handling.

    5. HANDLING OOG, DANGEROUS GOODS (ADR) AND OPERATED REEFER AT THE SERVICE DESK

The handling of oversized containers (OOG), sensitive reefer containers and containers with dangerous goods (ADR) as well as the registration of conventional trucks with general cargo for the EUROGATE Container Freight Station (CFS) is only possible at the service-desk. The processing of tour-plans that have missed the booked slot or whose self-service processing is not possible for other reasons must also take place via the service desk.

    6. CREATION OF TRUCKER CARDS

Creation of trucker cards and activation of trucker cards issued at other terminals, must be done directly at the service desk.

    7. CENTRAL GATE FOR MSC GATE & EUROGATE CTB

The containers are checked at the central gate. Defects must be reported by the trucker immediately.

    8. CHASSIS-AREAS/ TRUCK-TRANSFER-AREAS 1-4

After entering the In-gate, the driver drives to one of the four chassis-areas, drives backwards into a free lane and logs in lane´s number via a console.

    9. CONTAINER FREIGHT STATION (CFS)/ GENERAL CARGO TRUCKS
