Audi vehicles by rail to China

Since October, six times a week container block trains have been transporting Audi vehicles from Bremerhaven to China. The Container Freight Station (CFS) stows the Audi limousines and SUVs in 40-foot containers, two to a box. The containers are then loaded onto trains at the EUROGATE Container Terminal Bremerhaven.

Porsche vehicles on “New Silk Road” to China

A new scheduled rail service between Bremerhaven and China started running in April. At EUROGATE Container Terminal Bremerhaven’s Container Freight Station (CFS), Porsche vehicles are stowed in containers and then loaded directly at the container terminal onto block trains.

EUROGATE turns 20

This year, EUROGATE celebrates its 20-year anniversary. Europe’s leading shipping line-independent container terminal group was founded on 1 September 1999 by the private Hamburg-based terminal operator EUROKAI and Bremer Lagerhaus-Gesellschaft BLG (today BLG Logistics).

Hamburg: Nine straddle carriers sold to French company

Last year in October 2015 nine used straddle carriers of the brand Kalmar were loaded on to the freighter "BBC Bangkok" at the EUROGATE Container Terminal Hamburg. The straddle carriers were shipped to a new feeder terminal in Le Verdon near Bordeaux / France.

ADAC helicopter crew trains in Wilhelmshaven

Twice a year, the ADAC air rescue service of the German automobile association and its crews – made up of pilots, on-board engineers, emergency doctors and paramedics – are required to practice rescuing people in different situations from the air.
