The CMA CGM Georg Forster was the first ship of the new FAL 1 service of the OCEAN Alliance to dock at the EUROGATE Container Terminal Hamburg (CTH) on Friday, 15 May 2020. With the CMA CGM Mexico on Saturday, 16 May 2020, the FAL 3 ends at the CTH, which is replaced by the FAL 1.
The FAL 1 is also operated by the CMA CGM shipping company and connects Asia with Northern Europe, the Mediterranean region and the Middle East.
