After six years at venues outside Germany, the international “Cool Logistics Global Conference” returned to Germany on 27 and 28 September. This year for the first time, reefer goods experts from around the world met up in Bremen. On two days, they discussed the latest trends and developments in “cool chain logistics”.
A day before the conference, around 30 cool chain logistics experts from Europe, South America, Africa and Asia attended an information event in Bremerhaven. Here, they were welcomed by EUROGATE and were among other things able to gain interesting insights into how the EUROGATE Container Terminal works. The focus of the terminal visit was “Transhipment and storage of reefer containers”.
Afterwards, the experts had the opportunity to visit production sites, cold storage warehouses and fruit terminals in the maritime city. A thoroughly successful, highly informative and interesting kick-off to the conference was how one participant summed up the day.
